MAXIMA would make it more----AQUAFUN!

Theres no other place around that would make your vacation more exciting, memorable and fun-filled--- than MAXIMA AQUAFUN RESORT, INC..

Its been a year from now since I last visited one of the memorable places that I have been ---and up to now, I always get that exciting feeling whenever Maxima is mentioned. Though I have been there once, I always say to myself that even though Id be there every day, I would never be bored because no matter what, Maxima is surely an exciting place to be in.

One of the famous tourist spots in Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS) is Maxima, located at Barangay Cawag, Penaplata. If it is adventure that you have been looking for, then definitely, this is the right place to go. The trip on the way to Maxima is surely an adventure already! As Ive experienced, it is a long journey indeed from Sasa Wharf down to Brangay Cawag. Plus, upon reaching the place (Maxima) its another long journey for one need to experience their long long long stairs to reach the cottages. However, though its tiring (for me), it also pays to experience the stairs because up there you would be able to see the whole beauty of MAXIMA. For this, that's why MAXIMA is called THE HOUSE ABOVE THE SEA.
The House Above the Sea! It's a long walk down there!

Adventurous and outgoing people would surely appreciate this nature scenery with its many features offered. With a reasonable price, Maxima satisfies their customers through the following services:  Jetski riding,Jetski riding with Banana Boat, Banana Boat Riding, Kayak Boat Ride,Fishing, Scuba Diving, Trampolines, Diving Boards, Water Zorb Balls and Eagle View Canopy Walk with rapelling. Sounds exciting? Of course yes! But that’s not all that Maxima offers --- the main feature that makes your whole Maxima experience fulfilling and great is the GREAT SLIDE
========================================================================
The Diving Board- Measuring 15 feet and 10 feet
The Trampoline and Zorb Ball

Enjoying the Banana Boat good for 6 people

Kayak Riding!

The 40 meters GIANT SLIDE is a very nerve wrecking experience that you will scream so loud---at the top of your lungs. That one would feel that you left your soul on the top of the slide!!! :D  Upon reaching the end of the great slide, your body hits the water with a splash and boom---it became KOKO CRUNCH! :)

The GIANT SLIDE with the expereince of an never ending fall! :D

Maxima indeed provides a great experience for first-timers and even those who aren't first-timer's anymore! Surely, it's a best place to try new and extreme water sports!

It's definitely a fun place to bond with your family, friends and love ones especially in this LOVE season, Valentines Day!

<3 However, no matter what the occasion is MAXIMA is a proof that no matter where you go in the Philippines, it'll surely be FUN-FUN-FUN! :)))

Happy Swimming! *_*

ISLAND ESCAPADE

It’s been a year the last time we went to CAMIGUIN ISLAND, an experience that we reminiscence for a life time. Who would expect that a small island could have this awesome beauty of a nature???

CAMIGUIN ISLAND is said to be "Born of Fire". It has been known as a volcanic island since it has seven volcanoes unmatched anywhere else in Southeast Asia and one of the volcanoes there has been unpredictably active which is the Mt. Hibok-hibok. Volcanic eruptions and land movements have created this spectacular island full of natural wonders and historical riches. It is a tiny island of luxuriant forests, volcanic grandeur, eternal hot and cold natural springs, pristine patches of black and white beaches, majestic waterfalls, exotic marine life, blue-ridge mountains, tranquil surroundings, idyllic lifestyle; it has a glorious past, and is inhabited with jovial people. The truth is CAMIGUIN has amazing natural resources and peaceful atmosphere that stir and baffle the minds of everyone.

First stop was at the Old Church of San Roque. It was a big church in the time of Spaniards. But due to volcanic eruption it was destroyed.  However, some parts of it are remains.  These are the testimonials and bits and pieces of the eruption. It is a monument with thick century-old walls of second Spanish settlement established in 1697. Around with the area are trees or they called them as a DECADE TREE, actually, they were tall, a very tall tree and big one. People there preserve these things and taking care of for it is part of island history and evidence of the past.

Second stop was at the SUNKEN CEMETERY, a large white cross marks a cemetery swept into the sea by the volcanic eruption way back 1871. A cemetery that vanishes when it is a high tide and appears as it is when it is in low tide. From there it is a perfect place to watch the wonderful sunset over the ocean.

Third stop was VIA CRUZES- Old Volcano Slope, it is where life-size statues representing the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ - the 14 Stations of the Cross that dot a trail to Old Volcano's peak are found. At the last station is a tomb carefully carved and chiseled out of volcanic rocks. The pilgrims gather together here to pray during Lenten Season.

Next were falls such as KATIBAWASAN FALLS AND TUASAN FALLS. A beautiful, clear stream of water cascading 70 meters into a rock pool surrounded by ground orchids, wild ferns, trees and boulders. Its cold water provides a refreshing summer splash to all vacationers.
While the latter, the deafening waterfalls is deep and clear. It is perfect for a peaceful picnic and the only sound you hear is that of the tumbling falls and running water.

Then we also stopped into springs such ARDENT HOT SPRING AND STO.NIÑO COLD SPRING. Hot spring in the heart of the island bubbles this mineral pool with water around 400C. Vapor rises from the heated waters that run down the vents of the dormant Hibok-Hibok volcano. The springs are ideal to bathe in at night surrounded by cool mountain air. It has therapeutic effects. Picnic huts and tables are available in the beautifully landscaped gardens and there is a restaurant on site. And cold spring that has a terrific huge pool of cold spring water and the area has native stores, picnic huts and toilets for visitors and guests.

And the last stop was at the WHITE ISLAND, an isolated white sandbar where the view of towering Mt. Hibok-Hibok and Old Volcan reflects the sumptuousness the Province of Camiguin has ever achieved.

You too can also try this one by experiencing the real nature that we have in the PHILIPINES. Together with your family and loved once, no word can express how FUN IT IS to be in our place, a place to live with.

Samal - Kaputian

Island Garden City of Samal is a 2nd class city in the province of Davao del Norte, Philippines. The name is often abbreviated into IGaCoS. IGaCoS had a population of 90, 291 people.

The Island Garden City of Samal is now a part of Metropolitan Davao and is only two kilometers away from Davao City, the most important economic center in Mindanao.

Samal Island offers everlasting attraction because of its white sand beaches, different coral reefs, mangroves. It also has a great site for sunrise and sunset. The different beaches in Samal Island give an additional attraction to the place. The water is crystal clear you can even see the reefs and sands. The colors of the coastline at the beach areas is green.

Kaputian is one of the beaches in Samal Island. I've been into Kaputian twice but it seems that the beauty of the place still remained in my mind. Maybe because the place really gave me the sense of enjoyment and happiness for when I went there I'm with my friends and classmates celebrating our farewell party way back April 2008 and in year 2009, field-trip in our NS2 subject.

From Sta. Ana warf to Kaputian the journey will take almost an hour, but before you will reach the place you will see the different views.

Mangroves near Kaputian

Kaputian is located at a southern coast of Samal Island offers crystal blue waters that will surely take away your stress. Kaputian also offers native houses/rooms for those people who wish to stay overnight. They also offered food even clothes and other materials needed in a beach escapade at a very reasonable price.

You can also play volleyball, badminton or other recreational activities for Kaputian has a wide open space field. There you can mingle with your other fiends by playing sports.

Kaputian was the witnessed of our dreams, for in our high school farewell party we stated our dreams and soon to be achievements after ten years. It was the place wherein we were able to have fun with others, sharing laughter's and dreams that someday those dreams of ours will come true.

Aquinianz 2007-2008

Experiencing Sarangani

Sarangani

It has always been my dream to travel around the world and to explore and discover the beauty of nature. As a davaeño my primary aim is to tour around Mindanao. One place that I've been to was Sarangani. I've visited the place twice and it never fails to thrill me because I know what I'm about to witness and that is the cold breeze, peaceful waves of beach and the white sand beach harmonizing the crystal clear turquoise waters. For me this place is an epitome of what a paradise looks like. It's not just the natural beauty that it has to offer but as well as the people around it. The first time that I visited the place was during the "Sarangani Bay Fest" the feeling was overwhelming. I get to enjoy the beach and  heat of the sun. Water beach enthusiast were everywhere , beach bums crowded the shores showing their toned physique and  that only shows how much Sarangani has to offer. Words are not enough for me to explain how much I admire this place but I'm certain that Sarangani will always be on the top of my list where I can relax and pamper myself.
