It’s been a year from now since I last visited one of the memorable places that I have been ---and up to now, I always get that exciting feeling whenever Maxima is mentioned. Though I have been there once, I always say to myself that even though I’d be there every day, I would never be bored because no matter what, Maxima is surely an exciting place to be in.

One of the famous tourist spots in Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS) is Maxima, located at Barangay Cawag, Penaplata. If it is adventure that you have been looking for, then definitely, this is the right place to go. The trip on the way to Maxima is surely an adventure already! As I’ve experienced, it is a long journey indeed from Sasa Wharf down to Brangay Cawag. Plus, upon reaching the place (Maxima) it’s another long journey for one need to experience their long long long stairs to reach the cottages. However, though it’s tiring (for me), it also pays to experience the stairs because up there you would be able to see the whole beauty of MAXIMA. For this, that's why MAXIMA is called THE HOUSE ABOVE THE SEA.

Adventurous and outgoing people would surely appreciate this nature scenery with its many features offered. The 40 meters GIANT SLIDE is a very nerve wrecking experience that you will scream so loud---at the top of your lungs.That one would feel that you left your soul on the top of the slide!!! :D  Upon reaching the end of the great slide, your body hits the water with a splash and boom---it became KOKO CRUNCH! :)
